I’ve been a music teacher for 6 years, during which I’ve been able to teach around twenty students. Children, teenagers, adults and retired people alike, through private lessons in piano, music theory and harmony! I’m available to give lessons at your home in the Paris area or online!
Piano lessons
I’ve been playing the piano since I was 5, and I’d be delighted to help you learn to play the piano, with personalised lessons to suit you and your pace. Whether you’re interested in classical, jazz, pop, learning to read notes or developing your ear (or both!), exploring harmony, improvisation, composition, or a bit of everything, we’ll go in the direction you want!
For teenagers and adults, we’ll take the time together to define your objectives, which we’ll refine over the course of the lessons. For children, the same personalised approach, which I always try to make as fun as possible!
I love classical as much as jazz and contemporary, as well as music from films, TV series and video games. So I’ll always have a piece to suggest to you, and I’ll be happy to prepare, and if necessary transcribe into score, your own requests for pieces!
Music theory and harmony lessons
I offer you the chance to start or consolidate your music theory skills, to support your musical practice and broaden your horizons. And I’ll always adapt to your background, interests and goals! From more classical music theory (note reading) to jazz music theory (chords), including knowledge and techniques that apply to both areas (particularly harmony).
Contrary to its reputation, music theory can be a lot of fun, and it quickly becomes fascinating for the most curious, and if not, an essential tool that we’ll learn to use together.
